The Truth Remains as Radiance

Transformation often begins with the initiatory archetypal experience of fire.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
The catch is that most of us jump out of the fire before the magic happens. We fear the burning; we’re deeply unsettled by the chaos.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
The fire asks for sacrifice; it demands much — our courage, our patience, our endurance, our faith, our surrender. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
It asks, too, for whatever we are clutching tightly in our little hands. And when we give her some and then say, “Not this. Anything but this.”, she says, “Yes, that.”⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣We have to stay in the fire much longer than we want; much, much longer than is comfortable. We stay until it is done with us. We stay long enough to encounter our ashes.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
This is what I’ve learned from fire: it burns everything but itself.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
This is what I’ve learned from ash: the fire reveals what cannot be destroyed by destroying everything that can.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
The truth remains as radiance.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
This is the alchemy of transmutation. To encounter the Self, you must wholly risk the self. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
Masculinized systems fear the destroyer-creator, the Mother Creatrix. But without intimate knowledge of how and when things should die (in us, especially), life pivots into endless consumption; an addiction to the light; clinging to unholy life.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
Returning to balance means not only saying yes to the life that has been buried, but as we return our souls to their feminine roots, saying yes also to death.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
